It seems that Meghan Markle just couldn’t catch a break. The Duchess of Sussex is, currently, dealing with all the criticisms from the public and press after joining the royal family and, now, her own family is throwing shade at her.

Meghan Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., wrote a letter to the former actress and plead for them to finally end their family feud. He fully admitted that he hadn’t been a good brother to the Duchess of Sussex and apologized for criticizing her.

“I’ve had no business making things worse between him (Thomas Markle Sr.), Meghan and Harry and I want us all but especially them to be a proper family and reconcile," he wrote. "I hope Meghan gets in contact but my dad needs to prepare himself for it never happening. She did not get in contact after his heart attack."

But, then, Thomas Markle Jr. slipped a subtle shade at Meghan Markle, claiming that she got the chance to marry Prince Harry because of their dad. “But what she needs to remember is that she is only in Buckingham Palace with Harry because of her dad," he shared. "He paid for her education and fancy clothes. He helped her become the exceptional woman she is and I beg her to recognize that.”

Meghan Markle previously said, in an interview, that she sent herself to school, suggesting that nobody helped her in her education but herself. However, Thomas Markle Sr. claimed that he was the one who sent his daughter to school.

The father-daughter fall out started when Thomas Markle Sr. posed for a series of fake photographs before the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. He also criticized the Duchess of Sussex during his interviews.

Getting shade from her family is certainly not what Meghan Markle needs right now. The Duchess of Sussex revealed in her and Prince Harry’s documentary that things are certainly not easy for her since joining the royal family.

”You have no idea. It’s really hard to understand what it’s like,” Meghan Markle said. “I know what it seems like it should be. It’s a very different thing. That’s okay. The good thing is I’ve got my baby and I’ve got my husband and they’re the best."

While the royal family usually ignores the tabloids, they finally got on Prince Harry’s nerves and he decided to fight back by suing a couple of publications. The Duke of Sussex, then, posted a lengthy rant online, which he released on his own and not via Buckingham Palace, and without the knowledge of his advisers and the senior royals.
