With so many people living in the world, chances are you will find someone who sorts of looks like you. The truth is that you don’t even have to be related to someone for you to call them your doppelgänger.
In fact, even famous people, like Meghan Markle, have a look-alike. The Duchess of Sussex has a doppelgänger that could pass as her identical twin — Sarah Mhlanga.
As it turns out, Sarah Mhlanga, who is an occupation director at a performing arts school, is also a Meghan Markle impersonator. To be a successful one, impersonators usually pound themselves with a lot of makeup, but Sarah seemed to not need much to look like the Duchess of Sussex at all.
“People in Tescos, mums, and dads on the school run and retirees are all eager to tell me I look like her - or ask me if I am Meghan,” she said. “Even my daughter Mimi Raie, 5, and son Josiah, 7, started pointing at magazine covers and telling me that I look like the lady with Prince Harry."
Despite being a Meghan Markle impersonator, Sarah Mhlanga revealed that she still feels awkward when people want to take a photo with her because she knows that they thought she’s the Duchess of Sussex. “People must realize that I'm not really Meghan,” she said, adding that one man asked for a photo with her and his daughters and “his wife was convinced the photo was Meghan – so she framed it.”
Sarah Mhalanga also shared that she almost met Meghan Markle. “I didn't meet Meghan but at one point I was about a meter from her,” she said.
But, Sarah Mhlanga is not the only one who looks like Meghan Markle. Nicole Butcher, an Angel, North London resident, shared friends told her that she looks like the Duchess of Sussex, and strangers thought that she is Prince Harry’s wife. “I was in a bar once and a guy paid for my drinks all night because he was a fan of the show and had a crush on Rachel,” she told The Sun.
Meanwhile, these ladies may share Meghan Markle’s face, but they certainly wouldn’t want to share the issues that she is currently dealing with. The Duchess of Sussex garnered a lot of backlash after tying the knot with Prince Harry last year, which led the royal couple to sue a couple of publications.
