It has been pointed out time and time again that royals are human beings too. What made them different from the commoners is their title, but without their tiaras, pins, and sashes, they are just regular folks like the rest of us.
With that said, royal family members also have their “oops” moment. Although they are known for being graceful and sophisticated, they also have their share of embarrassing moments as well.
In fact, Kate Middleton, who is known for her poise, almost suffered an embarrassing moment in pubic when she accidentally stumbled during her and Prince William's visit to the Troubadour White City Theatre in London. Luckily, the Duke of Cambridge was there to save her and she eventually recovered her balance.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge showed their less serious side when they didn’t take the latter’s little stumble too seriously. While many may feel embarrassed about the little mishap, Kate Middleton found the whole thing funny and just giggled with her husband.
What made Prince William and Kate Middleton’s relationship different from most of the married royal couples is the fact that they started as good friends. Their connection blossomed into romance, and they will always have that friendship as a base of their relationship.
“College sweethearts! I love their love story, the part that the prince fell in love with a commoner and the Queen is supportive, his family is supportive; it’s a matter of Catherine accepting the royal life and is handling it well & with three kids now. I love their happy ending,” one netizen wrote. Others noted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are a “perfect couple” and “soul mates.”
But while Prince William’s relationship with Kate Middleton keeps getting stronger, it seems that his bond with Prince Harry is not going so well. It has been heavily speculated that the royal brothers are not as close as they were before anymore, and the younger prince seemingly confirmed the rumors in the ITV documentary.
“We're certainly on different paths at the moment,” Prince Harry told interviewer Tom Bradby. “But I will always be there for him, as I know he'll always be there for me." He then added, "We don't see each other as much as we used to, because we're so busy. But I love him dearly, and the majority of the stuff [reported in the press] … is created out of nothing."
