Prince Harry met with Prince Albert of Monaco while watching the World Cup Rugby final in Japan in early November. During their brief time together, the Duke of Sussex apparently confided in Prince Albert about his row with the British tabloid media and he gained the sympathy of the royal.

Speaking with People, Prince Albert said that he expressed his support for Prince Harry's beef with the press. The Duke of Sussex apparently told him that he felt bullied, to which Prince Albert said he "can understand and sympathize" with Prince Harry's situation.

Prince Albert, the son of Hollywood icon Grace Kelly, further revealed that they didn't discuss Prince Harry's problems at length because they were at the rugby game. However, the Monaco royal also told him that he must do what he needs to do to ensure his privacy.

The older royal gave more words of advice for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the People interview. Prince Albert said that the Sussex pair can simply ignore the bad press and move on from those that are being too hard on them. Paying no attention to the British tabloid media is Prince Albert's best points for Prince Harry and Meghan's media relations.

In 2017, Prince Albert said that he admires the Sussex royals but he also grew concern over their life in the harsh spotlight. He said at that time that Prince Harry and Meghan are bound to "face the full onslaught" of the tabloid media.

In October, Prince Harry announced that he was suing Mail on Sunday for publishing private letters of his wife to her father, Thomas Markle, in a malicious attempt to malign the duchess. He also followed it up with two other lawsuits from an unrelated phone tapping case before he met Meghan Markle.

Prince Harry said in a documentary interview that the media's scrutiny reminded him of the same challenges his mother, Princess Diana, faced in the spotlight. He and Meghan admitted that the negative press has been bad for their mental health.

Meanwhile, following the confession from the Sussex royals, speculations are abuzz over Prince Harry and Meghan likely renouncing their royal life in favor of a more peaceful existence away from the media scrutiny. Their planned six-week trip to the U.S. during the holidays is allegedly a test to see if they would be better off living outside of London and dispensing of their duties as royal.
