Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just couldn’t catch a break from their critics. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been bombarded with a lot of negative comments after they got married last year, and it seems that it's not slowing down anytime soon.
Although Prince Harry was loved by many, especially because he’s the son of Princess Diana, he receives constant bashing after he tied the knot with Meghan Markle. Not only were the royal fans unhappy with his choice, but a lot of them noticed that the Duke of Sussex regressed after the marriage.
Now, netizens are claiming that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not have a happy ending because they have a different purpose after saying “I do” in 2018. On the online forum site Quora, a netizen asked: “Do you think Meghan and Harry will ever find a happy ending?” A lot of royal fans then shared their thoughts, and most of them believe that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not find that happiness.
“No. Not together. Harry was looking for love. Meghan was looking for money. Their backgrounds and expectations are too different,” one wrote. “MM craves glitz and glamor while Harry knows better. Harry was on an upward trajectory (serving in the military and committing to his mother’s humanitarian principles) when he was thrown a curveball.”
The fan then noted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s chemistry is “wonderful.” But then she pointed out that amazing chemistry is not enough to make the marriage work. She said that “Harry needs a strong woman with a giving heart. He needs someone less focused on herself and more focused on learning about her new culture and the struggles that people endure.”
Critics believe that Meghan Markle is a self-centered woman, who craves the spotlight, given her background as a former actress. While she is supposed to be a supporter of Prince Harry, many thought that she was trying to outshine him. With that said, royal fans are convinced that the Duke of Sussex chose the wrong woman as his wife.
Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a documentary titled Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, where they candidly revealed the pressures they have faced as a couple. It was also during the ITV program when the former actress shared her struggles after joining the royal family.
When asked about how she was, Meghan Markle thanked Bradby and said, “not many people have asked if I’m ok, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.” This statement didn’t please a lot of people as many believe that she was complaining.
