Body language expert Blanca Cobb, however, shared her insight about how Prince Harry and Meghan behaved during the event even though they were never seen together with Prince William and Kate. She said that the Sussex royals were not at ease to be there because Prince Harry kept putting his hand on his stomach, which is a self-soothing gesture. Meghan, on the other hand, had her hands in awkward positions to indicate that she, too, was uncomfortable.
On the other hand, Prince William and Kate appeared more relaxed and happier that night. The expert said that Kate, especially, had a big smile on her face, which meant that she was really at ease to be there.
Royal fans on Quora chimed in about the analysis. One commenter said that if Prince Harry and Meghan felt uncomfortable around the royal family then "it was all their own doing." because they took a swipe at the royals and hinted to the press they weren't getting any support from the family.
Another commenter said that there is no such thing as a body language expert because this isn't a science learned in universities. To analyze photos and a few video snippets can be quite unfair and inconclusive as well since there are angles in a photograph that can bring a huge difference to the whole picture.
A Quora participant also demonstrated that it's quite easy to make such analysis as the "experts" by switching up the photos of Prince Harry and Meghan with Prince William and Kate but using the same text or analysis. There were photos of Prince William with his hand over his stomach and Kate with her hands in awkward positions during the same event, and yet these were not seen as signs of discomfort.
