Royal fans have been hoping that Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, the wives of Prince Harry and Prince William, respectively, would form a deep friendship as sisters-in-law. However, there haven't been a chance for the people to see the duchesses spending time together either during public events or for casual family outings.

The last time Meghan and Kate were spotted in each other's company was during the Wimbledon tournament over the summer. Other than that, royal fans were disappointed that these women didn't even have a chance to be seen together at the last royal family event during Remembrance Day. Are the sisters-in-law even close?

A netizen on Twitter believes that Meghan Markle has been passively aggressively attacking Kate Middleton since she joined the royal family. While this doesn't show any proof of why they aren't friends, the netizen believes that Meghan will destroy Kate if the former's marriage to Prince Harry doesn't work out.

Other netizens chimed in and said that Kate has to watch her back against Meghan because she's up to something. They also said that Kate has the stacks in her favor since she's British and will have the nation standing by her if the worst happens.

It is unclear who are behind these vicious comments against Meghan. Reports revealed, however, that Meghan's half-sister, Samantha Markle, has been under investigation by the Florida police for complaints about cyberbullying the duchess.

Daily Mail reported that claims from the U.K., Canada and Sweden have been filed against Samantha without the knowledge or involvement of the royal family. Allegedly, Samantha was made aware of the allegations but no arrests have been made as the case is still under a long investigation.

Meanwhile, royal correspondent Phil Dampier confirmed that Kate gave her sister-in-law some advice after the release of Prince Harry and Meghan's controversial documentary. Dampier said that the Duchess of Cambridge apparently told the Duchess of Sussex that all royals go through some "bad patch" but the important thing is to learn from the experience, avoid making the same mistakes, and moving on.

Kate apparently knows what she's talking about regarding the negativity of the British tabloid media. During her time as Prince William's girlfriend, she earned the ridiculous nickname, "Waity Katie," because it took while for the second in line to the throne to propose to her. Her critics also viewed her as a lazy duchess because she didn't have a career before becoming a royal.

Dampier also said that Kate has been trying her best to reach out to Prince Harry and Meghan amid reports of a rift between their families.
