The British Royal Family has been plagued with controversies and allegations since then. Witnessing one after another headline, many fans and experts are now concluding one thing: Queen Elizabeth II is the only royal who is not causing any damage to the monarchy and the family.
These thoughts and notions just came in after Nigel Farage's interview on Tuesday. According to Express UK, the Brexit leader has "launched" attacks against the royal family, especially to Prince Andrew in recent times.
The attacks were prompted by the Duke of York's alleged involvement with the infamous Jeffrey Epstein scandal. As per the politician's statements, what made things worse was when Prince Andrew showed no "regret" for his ties with Epstein, and no "sympathy," especially to the ones who were trafficked.
The Duke of York has been friends with the late influential Jeffrey Epstein since the 90s. During this period and up to this, the American financier was surrounded by controversies involving him and the prince to various sex trafficking allegations.
However, Queen Elizabeth II's second son has denied his association with the controversies. Even after Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide inside U.S. prison in August while "awaiting trial," Prince Andrew continued to take his established stand.
Nigel Farage further contended that this has been "damaging" the image and stand of the British royal family. But, considering that he is only eighth in line to the throne, the damages are more apparent to the duke himself. It is not a "direct threat" to the royal family, the politician added.
Nevertheless, he pointed out that the public has now become more "skeptical" to the royals who came after Queen Elizabeth II. So, there is still a huge impact on the family's side.
Toronto Sun also released a similar angle. But, as per the publication, the palace and the queen has yet to comment or release statements about the matter.
In August, Nigel Farage also attacked the other members of the British Royal family, as reported by The Guardian. Upon deriding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for their "irrelevant" social injustice and environmental campaigns, he also mentioned launched scathing attacks against Prince Charles and the Queen Mother.
Based on his statements, the Queen Mother was an "overweight, chainsmoking-gin drinker." As for Prince Charles, the politician ridiculed his "climate change" advocacies.
He also noted that everyone is very "lucky" to have Queen Elizabeth II. However, the rest of the royal family has been abusing her. He further shared that he hoped for the queen to live much longer and for Prince William to live forever so that Prince Harry will not become King in the future.
