BTS V solo track, "Singularity," had broken several records when it was released more than a year ago. Now, it reached a couple more milestones as it exceeded 120 million views on YouTube and 90 million streams on Spotify.

The BTS's Love Yourself: Tear album intro featuring Kim Taehyung, also known as V, was dropped on May 6, 2018. In just 10 hours after its release, it had accumulated 10 million views, making it the fastest comeback MV of BTS to achieve such a feat. Overall, "Singularity" is the third-fastest BTS music video to surpass the 10 million mark, behind "DNA" and "Mic Drop (Remix)."

On November 18, "Singularity" surpassed 120 million views on YouTube in just six months after its release. The R&B track also maintained its status as the most liked BTS intro in the platform with 4.2 million likes.

It is also streamed 90 million times on Spotify, the 23rd track of BTS to reach the milestone. It also made the song the second most-streamed BTS Solo song and fourth most-streamed solo song by a Korean artist on the music streaming platform.

Aside from smashing records, Kim Taehyung's "Singularity" also received raving reviews from music critics and fans. BTS V was praised for his deep, soulful voice and delivering a haunting yet enchanting performance in its music video, not to mention his striking visuals throughout the MV. BTS V had also showcased his unrivaled stage presence in all of his performances of "Singularity" throughout the Love Yourself world tour of BTS.

Additionally, the Love Yourself: Tear intro was named by several publications as one of the best BTS songs. The New York Times put it at No. 2 on its list of "65 Best Songs of 2018" along with Tear's lead track "Fake Love." LA Times' pop music critic Mikael Wood ranked it fourth in the "Best and Most Replay Worthy Songs of 2018" while Guardian's music critic Laura Snapes included it as one of her favorite tracks on the outlet's "Best Music of 2018: Albums and Tracks" list.

Meanwhile, BTS ARMY also recently celebrated the 100th day since BTS V released his first English self-written/produced song, "Winter Bear." The 23-year-old idol dropped the song in August, and it showcased his talent as a songwriter, producer, director, and actor.

BTS fans expressed their appreciation to V's effort in putting up a song and an MV amidst his busy schedule. V's bandmates, Jimin and J-Hope, previously revealed in one of their VLive broadcast that during their world tour, Taehyung wakes up early or spend late nights just to shoot photos and clips for "Winter Bear" MV.
