Ever since Meghan Markle joined the royal family last year, she was accused of a lot of things. Critics claimed that she only married Prince Harry to gain popularity and that she loves the camera more than her husband. One of the worst speculations is that the Duchess of Sussex is faking everything, and royal fans are discussing the issue.
A previous report claimed that Meghan Markle had not been very truthful at all. New Idea’s headline read: “New Interview She Faked It All.” Below, the magazine added the text “Palace Rocked By Shocking Claims.”
After reading the cover story, royal fans have mixed reactions about it. One stated that the “title is misleading” as the content of the article didn’t contain anything new.
“I thought the same thing. There is NOTHING in the article that says she made anything up. Title is clickbait,” another fan added. “If Meghan faked it all, wouldn’t the Royals be complicit too? For sure Harry. This is not a regular family, with the security and formality that goes with being Royals. They knew or some of them knew. The only one who looked that did not want go with it was Prince William,” another one wrote.
Although the royal family is known for ignoring the British tabloids, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked everyone when they sued a couple of publications last month. With that said, one netizen asked if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will sue New Idea as well.
However, one netizen noted that Meghan Markle has no right to sue the publication as it was telling nothing but the truth. “She can’t sue. It’s true. She lied. How can she sue when they are telling the truth that she lied. She even said ‘I lied to every casting director.’ She was proud of it. She is such a B,” they said.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to have a six-week break. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their firstborn Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, will be spending Thanksgiving in the U.S. Although there is no official announcement from Buckingham Palace, it is expected that the royal couple will be visiting Los Angeles.
“This is Archie’s first Thanksgiving and family is going to be very important for Meghan for the holidays,” a source said. “This would also be Harry’s first Thanksgiving in the States. It will be nice for them to be around people that love them and have him understand her traditions too.” Insiders added that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are focused to escape the scrutiny that they are currently facing in the U.K.
