Chicago Med fall finale aired on Wednesday, Nov. 20, on NBC, with the title "I Can't Imagine the Future." The episode saw April and Ethan facing relationship problems and on the verge of breaking up, while the reunion of Natalie and Will didn't go as planned.

In Chicago Med fall finale, April found out she has a condition wherein she will go through early onset menopause. Getting pregnant might be hard for her, and she's particularly worried about Ethan because she could not give him the baby that he desires.

April's doctor told her to discuss this matter with Ethan and opt for IVF. However, he's packing up when she goes home and getting ready for a six-week gig with the Navy. April didn't say anything, and Ethan later offers to visit a doctor to make sure he's not the problem.

April felt pressured; she got mad and said she's not sure if she still wants to have a baby. They faced another argument after a medical case divides Ethan and Crockett, and April chose to side with the latter. Ethan was frustrated and said he's not sure what's going on between him and April.

He believes that it's the best for both of them if he's going away -- giving April six weeks to figure out everything. Meanwhile, Chicago Med fall finale also sees Natalie and Will's reunion, but it didn't go well, and it might be the end for both of them.

Before that, Philip's daughter was in the hospital. While he's not there with her, the situation triggered Natalie's lost memories to come back. The truth about Philip started to come out; he's a pathological liar and signed a DNR order for his daughter Sophie.

Natalie's full memories return in Chicago Med fall finale, and she realized that she's been unfair to Will. She searched for him and found him and the hospital rooftop. Natalie declares that she loves him, but Will's response was unexpected. He told her that life has been good to him after she's gone.

He also said they're not good for one another and will only keep hurting each other. While there's still hope they'll be together again, it looks like Will is ready to move on and move forward with his life. He admits that he feels free now and can imagine a future without Natalie.

Meanwhile, Chicago Med season 5 episode 10 is set to arrive early next year. As per CarterMatt, the new episode may likely air on Jan. 8, on NBC. But, it should be noted the network hasn't confirmed any details regarding the official air date of the latest episode.
