Prince William and Kate Middleton are seemingly untroubled to reports and comments when they are focused on both of them. However, it appears that the case is different when these comments are made toward their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
As revealed by BBC1 host, Greg James in his interview with Mirror UK, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a "word" with him upon his visit to Kensington Palace. He shared that the couple talked to him about the comments he made a few weeks ago on Princess Charlotte.
Many reports have claimed that the host "mocked" the 4-year-old princess in his show, Breakfast with Greg James. Upon seeing Princess Charlotte's photo during her first day in school, he blatantly stated on air, "who the hell" shakes their hands with teachers during the first day of school?, which was likely a rhetorical question and a comment toward the princess' action.
In a scoop made by Elle, Greg James was said to "laugh" when he saw the photo and before sharing his thoughts. Because of these things, it was reported that Prince William and Kate Middleton were not "amused" upon hearing the host as they were listening to the segment on that very morning.
It was revealed by Greg James himself that he went with Radio 1's Teen Heroes to the Kensington Palace a few weeks after. During their visit, this was when the Cambridge couple was said to have a "quiet word" with him.
The host continued to share that Prince William and Kate Middleton told him that they were listening to him on the morning of Princess Charlotte's first day in school, and that they want to talk to him about the "handshake" comment he made. In the end, Greg James revealed that he could only mutter, "Oh God, no" upon hearing the royal couple.
Aside from this scenario, no further details were shared as to what happened with his conversation with the royals. Even so, he claimed that all is well between him and the Cambridge couple.
According to People, Princess Charlotte started her schooling years at Thomas's Battersea in London last September. It was revealed that she attends the same school where her brother, Prince George also attends.
