When Mr. Worldwide Handsome Jin himself revealed his morning routine during his Eat Jin episode on Vlive, everyone was all ears. But instead of sharing his must-buy products or beauty rituals to achieve a flawless face like him, the BTS start shared something different yet practical.
Before revealing his morning routine, Jin complimented himself first, saying how good his skin looks. “Guys, doesn’t my skin look amazing right now? I’m looking at my reflection on the screen, and I look great,” he told the viewers. If there’s another thing that the BTS star is good at other than singing, dancing, and looking good, that is being extremely confident.
After that, he decided to share the secret to his good looks. “You know, this is kind of embarrassing to say myself, but I do this thing where I wake up in the morning and look at myself in the mirror. And I tell myself, ‘Seokjin. You’re so handsome. What are you going to do!’ I’m serious. That’s how I start my mornings,” he said. Jin then bursts into laughter after revealing his morning routine. But don’t take his laughter the wrong way. Just because he laughed, doesn’t mean he was joking. He urged everyone to do the same thing.
The BTS star then admitted that he’s so used to looking so perfect with make-up that he feels ugly in the morning without it. Luckily, Jin discovered the best morning routine yet.
“I keep facing myself in the mirror and tell myself that I’m not so bad. And that’s how I start my mornings, with confidence," he said. "I’m telling you, it’s good for you! In order to be confident throughout the day, you need to make a habit of praising yourself.”
Confidence is, indeed, a powerful trait. K-pop is a very cruel world. You need to have thick skin to deal with all the hate, negative comments, and criticisms.
Jin has been criticized for having “no talent” because he had no experience with singing and dancing before joining BTS. He was scouted by Big Hit entertainment because of his good looks, and critics are using it against him.
However, Jin has proven to everyone that everything is possible with hard work and perseverance. Now, he is considered as a top vocal in BTS and a good dancer.
