Being seven of the most popular bachelors in the world, BTS is being constantly asked about their ideal type. While all of them see pass through physical attraction as they always say that they want someone who will love them for who they are, they also give in to fans’ curiosity and share their ideal types.
As for Jimin, he previously revealed that he likes cute girls. While his type seems to match his personality as the BTS star is known for being cute, netizens claim that his actions definitely prove otherwise.
Some ARMYs believe that Jimin is not really into cute girls, but he’s more attracted to sexy women. In fact, many are convinced that the BTS star likes full-figured women and not the petite ones like he previously said.
So what led these ARMYs to believe that Jimin lied about his ideal type? Some pointed out that during events, the BTS star doesn’t seem to care much when “cute girls” are performing on stage. Although he sometimes sang along, clapped for them, and even smiled, he didn’t really have a distinct reaction towards them.
But when “thicc” girls perform, Jimin would always have a strong reaction. He would be seen mouthing the words “wow” and “whoa” and he couldn't take his eyes off of them. Eagle-eyed fans even noticed that Jimin would touch his chin when he’s interested in what he’s seeing. Two perfect examples were during Mamamoo’s Hwasa and American singer and dancer Normani’s separate performances.
During Hwasa’s performance at Golden Disk Awards 2019, the 24-year-old singer, songwriter, and rapper turned around and showed off her bare back. The camera showed RM, Jimin, and Jungkook’s reactions, but it was only Jimin who appeared to be extremely into it. (Watch the video here).
Hwasa is known for her sexy appearance. She is also very seductive and daring during her performances, which is a far cry from Jimin’s supposed-to-be ideal type.
Meanwhile, when Normani performed at the BBMAs last year, Jimin almost lost it. The “Love Lies” singer was wearing a barely-there outfit, and at one point she even dropped on the floor and did a very seductive move. While all the BTS members were in total shock, Jimin did that same thing with his chin and said "wow." (Watch the video here).
ARMYs quickly noticed Jimin’s reaction. “Jimin likes sexy thick tan girls. All these ideal types 'I like cute petite girls' are such bs,” one wrote. “As soon as you see Jimin lean over and put his hand by his mouth like that.. you know he’s ready to risk it all,” another one commented. “He likes girls who can throw a good performance and has good stage presence. And it looks like they are on the thicc side too. Good to know Jimin, good to know,” one netizen shared.
