U.S. President Donald Trump shared on Thanksgiving a photo of his face superimposed on the shirtless super-buff body of Rocky Balboa. Many did not expect this tweet coming and yet made fun of it.

Netizens shared their reactions to the photo. Many think it's confusing, weird, and beyond presidential. But what makes many netizens confused is the fact that the president oddly did not offer any explanation to the photo as it doesn't have a caption.

This made the tweet open to tons of interpretation, and social media users are loving it. Thousands of speculations, jokes, and memes spawn as soon as it was uploaded on Thanksgiving Day. Even celebrities shared their thoughts about the photo.

"It's fun to pretend," Star Wars actor Mark Hamill captioned his tweet about Trump's post.

Some netizens said this could be the real-to-life version of the expectation versus reality memes. The comparison memes about Trump's latest tweet include a photo of POTUS with washboard abs versus a fast-food chain lover. Another is Trump as a wealthy man versus a billionaire loser.

The photo also prompted some jokes about Russia. One said in the Rocky movie, the protagonist defeated his Russian enemy while Trump continues to give Vladimir Putin's county all the victories.

Some also took notice of how different Trump is to other world leaders. One said POTUS took time to photoshopped his head to Rocky on Thanksgiving while Germany chancellor Angela Merkel shared a clip of her talk on free speech in the digital age on the same day. Another compared Trump Thanksgiving post to that of former President Barack Obama's tweet in which he shared a photo of him with his family on the holiday.

A netizen also commented that there is no other way that Trump would post such an image unless he is drunk. One Twitter user also reminded the Americans that Trump tweets are considered as an official statement from the highest seat in the land: The White House.

Others speculate that it could be Trump's response to questions about his health. One netizen said perhaps the 46th President of the U.S. wants to show that he is still in good shape following his unexpected two-hour visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center a couple of weeks ago.

Meanwhile, according to reports, Trump most likely sent the tweet while playing golf at one of the golf clubs in Florida. The president spent Thanksgiving at Mar-a-Lago.

Aside from the head, it can also be noticed that the background of Trump's photo was changed into an image of the crowd from the audience at one of his rallies, presumably in Florida on Tuesday night. During the said rally, he claimed that the liberals wanted to rename the Thanksgiving.
