Now, with Christmas just right around the corner, it seems that Kate Middleton may be serving a special treat for her and Prince William’s three young children during the festivities. Since the Duchess of Cambridge is not a newbie in the kitchen, there’s a big hint that she may be making this particular Christmas treat for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Prince William and Kate Middleton teamed up with TV chef royalty Mary Berry and her fellow Bake-Off star Nadiya Hussain for a special Christmas program called A Berry Royal Christmas. The TV special will air on BBC One at 8.30 pm on December 16.
Since it is a cooking show, it is expected that Prince William and Kate Middleton will be doing some magic in the kitchen with the professionals. As it turns out, the program will be for a good cause and is dedicated to volunteers and charity staff who unselfishly work over the holidays.
Behind-the-scenes snaps were then posted on the Kensington Royal Instagram account. The caption read: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have joined forces with cookery legend Mary Berry to prepare festive food to thank all those working and volunteering over the Christmas period.” It then shared details about the program.
One of the photos showed Mary Berry and Nadiya Hussain holding a Christmas meringue roulade, which is a recipe of the former. Since Kate Middleton learned how to make this festive sweet on the show, there is a high chance that she will be preparing this for her children back at home as well.
While there is no confirmation that Kate Middleton will indeed make Christmas meringue roulade for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, it is certainly not far from happening. The Duchess of Cambridge is just like any other regular mom who wants their children to taste the best food out there.
Mary Berry is a very respected chef, and her recipes never fail to impress anyone. So if Kate Middleton wants to impress her children this holiday season, she would make one of Mary’s recipes for them.
