Christmas is indeed the most wonderful time of the year, especially for kids. And just like most children, the young royals also list down what they wanted for Christmas. However, Prince William and Kate Middleton will have a lot of thinking to do regarding Princess Charlotte’s request.
According to an insider, Princess Charlotte is “obsessed with horses” and wanted to have a pony for Christmas. But since she is only four years old and is too young to own a huge pet, Prince William and Kate Middleton may not grant her wish until next year.
“Charlotte takes after Queen Elizabeth and is obsessed with horses,” the source shared. “She’s asked for a pony, but might have to wait until next year because William thinks she’s too young.”
As for Prince George, he listed down a more practical request, so he is more likely to receive it on Christmas. “George is really into tennis and has asked for a new racket and a football table,” the tipster said. “They’ll both be receiving children’s cookery sets because they love making a mess in the kitchen!”
Princess Charlotte’s love for horses is not surprising at all since Queen Elizabeth herself loves them as well. Also, a throwback snap of Princess Diana's niece Lady Kitty Spencer riding a horse reminded everyone of the young princess.
In the snap, Lady Kitty Spencer can be seen sitting on her horse, wearing complete riding gear. She, then, captioned it, "Lexus Melbourne Cup here we come!! Channeling my inner jockey since 1992!"
What made the photo interesting is the fact that the young Lady Kitty Spencer had a cheeky expression on her face, which Princess Charlotte is famously known for. Prince William and Kate Middleton’s daughter likes to stick out her tongue as Lady Kitty did in the throwback snap.
As expected, royal fans were quick to comment on how the pair looked so much alike. "Like Charlotte Cambridge,” one wrote. "You look exactly like Charlotte,” another one commented. "Gosh, you look like Princess Charlotte here,” one fan pointed out.
This is not the first time that people noticed the strong resemblance of Lady Kitty Spencer and Princess Charlotte. When the 28-year-old shared a photo of herself on her first day of school last year, many commented that they feel like they know now what the young princess will look like when she transforms into a young lady.
