The bond between Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift is a true friendship goal. Gomez shared how her BFF became emotional when she played her songs "Lose You to Love Me" and "Look at Her Now" to Taylor for the first time.

During her guest appearance in UK radio's KISS FM, the "Hands to Myself" singer revealed that she previewed both songs to Taylor and the singer's mother, Andrea, before it was released in public. Sel revealed that both cried when they heard her songs.

Selena said she was at Taylor's house with the latter's family when she asked them if they want to watch the music videos for both songs. Sel said her best friend was too excited to hear her new music, she even turned all the lights off at home.

When she started to play the video, Taylor and her mom started to cry. Selena said she is grateful to the Swift family for being on her side during the most difficult time of her life.

"They were crying because of how proud they were for me stepping into a whole new era of my life and it not involving the horrible things: the abuse, the emotional chaos," Gomez admitted.

In October, Swift talked about how proud she is of Gomez. Taylor said her BFF had been through tough times in the past and she had seen all of it. The "Me!" singer added that Selena's new songs are revelations and she is convinced that it is the best thing that the "Same Old Love" songtress has done so far.

Both "Lose You to Love Me" and "Look at Her Now" will be part of Selena Gomez's upcoming album, Rare. The new LP is set to drop on January 10, 2020. Selena said the entire album is about where she was in the past and where she is at present.

The Hotel Transylvania voice actress talks about her on-and-off romance with fellow singer Justin Bieber in her song "Lose You to Love Me. The "Look at Her Now," on the other hand, represents her comeback from her past relationship.

In a recent interview, Gomez revealed she had been working on the album for the past four years. The Rare album is Selena's first LP since her 2015 album, Revival. The new album will also have a deluxe version which will have the singer's past hit songs such as "Wolves," "Bad Liar," "Back to You," "Fetish," and "It Ain't Me."
