It’s no secret that Michelle Obama loves her daughters with all her heart. She wants nothing but the best for Malia and Sasha and wants them to be happy and safe all the time.

So when US President stirred up the false birther movement in 2011, Michelle Obama said that she will never forgive the US President for putting her daughters at risk. She shared her frustrations in her memoir “Becoming.”

“The whole [birther] thing was crazy and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly. But it was also dangerous, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks,” Michelle Obama wrote. “What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family’s safety at risk. And for this, I’d never forgive him.”

When Donald Trump was asked about Michelle Obama’s statement, he replied by criticizing former President Barack Obama. “I’ll never forgive him for what he did to our United States military. I’ll never forgive him for many other things,” he told reporters outside the White House.

The conspiracy theory about former President Barack Obama not being a US citizen first surfaced in 2008. President Donald Trump then pushed the theory in 2011 and even tweeted about it in 2012. “An 'extremely credible source' has called my office and told me that @BarackObama's birth certificate is a fraud,” he wrote at the time.

It’s easy to see that the Obamas and Trumps are not fans of each other, and they have always been vocal about it.

Meanwhile, Michelle Obama revealed that she is one of those cool moms who didn’t cry when she dropped off her eldest daughter at Harvard. The ex-FLOTUS explained that the reason why she didn’t weep that time because she knows that she can talk to Malia anytime she wants.

“I can text [Malia] right this second and know exactly what she’s thinking. I don’t feel like she’s away, I feel like she’s off on her next adventure, so I’m excited about her,” she said.

But things didn’t go as smoothly when it was Sasha’s turn to be away for college. When the 18-year-old was dropped off at Michigan University, Michelle Obama revealed that she, Barack, and Malia all cried in the car.
