George Clooney is reportedly turning into a total grinch this holiday season and this is driving the people around him crazy including his wife, Amal. The actor allegedly is unhinged these days because of his upcoming movie with Netflix and Amal can't do anything about it.
According to the National Enquirer, Clooney has been "barking orders and ruffling feathers" while trying to get his movie Good Morning, Midnight off the ground. The outlet alleged that the actor, who used to be calm and laid-back, has been on edge lately and people are avoiding him.
The site alleged that Clooney's "unhinged" behavior lately is because he is feeling the pressure of pulling the movie together. The insider claimed Clooney is being stressed about putting a cast together and it is expected that he will get worse when the filming starts.
"Everyone wishes Amal would calm him down - but even she is frustrated with his foul moods," the source said.
The actor's spokesperson, however, denied the rumors that the Money Monster actor is becoming a real-life Christmas grinch. His rep told Gossip Cop that Clooney's upcoming film has been cast for months and also halfway through its production. The spokesperson added that the filming is ahead of schedule and everyone on set is having a blast.
Good Morning, Midnight started filming in the UK in October. Its cast members include Felicity Jones, Kyle Chandler, David Oyelowo, and Demián Bichir. This means Clooney is not having a problem trying to get his movie off the ground because it has been running smoothly for months now.
Clooney will star and direct the movie which is based on Lily Brooks-Dalton's novel of the same title. The movie adaptation was penned by Mark L Smith. Most of the movie scenes will be shot in the U.K. while further photography is scheduled to be taken in Iceland.
Good Morning, Midnight is a post-apocalyptic movie that follows Augustine (Clooney), a lonely scientist in the Arctic. He frantically tries to make contact with the crew of a spacecraft who are trying to return to the Earth. Augustine tries to do everything he could to stop the astronauts from returning home because of a mysterious global catastrophe.
Meanwhile, Clooney had stated in the past how his married life is doing. He said in a past interview that he and Amal are the "right couple." He also assured that they have been happy ever since they got together.
