Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi just got engaged a few months ago. While the supporters and fans have been glad to know that there will be a new royal wedding soon, things seemingly have changed after Prince Andrew broke his silence about his affiliations with the infamous Jeffrey Epstein.

It was previously revealed that the newly engaged couple will tie the knot in 2020. However, the details were scarce, which left the majority of the public wondering about the upcoming event.

According to Express UK, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi now plan to have a "low-profile" wedding ceremony in Italy. Aside from the fact that the princess' soon-to-be husband has an Italian heritage, this was also said to be a "sensible" act given all the controversies that the York family has been facing in recent times.

As shared with the publication, royal expert, Richard Fitzwilliams claimed that there is no other choice than an Italy wedding. It should be "low-key" and "low-profile," as much as possible.

The reason being is that the York household is in a very "bad place" right now. While the York princesses have nothing to do with their father, Prince Andrew's links and associations, it is worth noting that the taxpayer's money will still be used in the upcoming royal wedding. Quite obviously, the public will not love that kind of idea, he added.

It was also explained that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's wedding will not be like the younger York princess' nuptials in 2018. As reported, Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank was grand and televised.

It was when the royals are "riding high," not to mention, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just got married at that time, he continued. So, having a huge wedding ceremony for the young York princess was not a big deal.

However, the case right now is very different. The York family, even the young princesses are quite hard to brand as of the moment. Accordingly, it will be only a suitable choice if Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will fly to Italy and proceed with a private ceremony in the European country, royal commentator, Angela Mollard added.

In a similar scoop made by Daily Mail, it was already speculated a few months ago that the wedding will take place in Italy. However, sources from the publication claimed that this is quite impossible to happen since Queen Elizabeth II was said to having a hard time flying out of the United Kingdom.

But, with the current circumstances, it seems that this will be already the case as the York family is still in the bad shot in the eyes of the public.
