With seven handsome and extremely talented boys to choose from, it is quite understandable why some ARMYs couldn’t pick a bias in BTS. If you’re into rap, there’s Suga, J-Hope, and RM. If you focus more on vocals, there’s Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. If dancing is what you’re more interested in, there’s J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook.
Some fans even admitted to having jumped from one bias to another, then return to that first bias, but then jump to a different bias again. This is the dilemma that most ARMYs have to deal with — but not John Cena.
John Cena previously revealed that he is an ARMY. The 42-year-old American professional wrestler, actor, rapper, and television presenter even offered to be RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s bodyguard.
When asked who his bias was, he said it was J-Hope. This wasn’t a shock to his social media followers as the Hollywood superstar had posted a picture of the BTS rapper and main dancer to his Instagram account in February 2018.
Since John Cena’s Instagram bio notes that “These images will be posted without explanation, for your interpretation. Enjoy,” people were curious if he only posted the photo of J-Hope because he liked it, or is he a fan of BTS?
Metro then took the opportunity to let John Cena answer all the curiosity while he was promoting his upcoming movie at the time. He was then asked if he’s a fan of BTS.
“See, if I were to explain, that would defeat the purpose!” he said. “Although I will say, ‘Base Line’ is my favorite track on the J-Hope mixtape. I also like ‘Hangsang.’”
Then in July 2018, John Cena was asked about BTS again, where he officially announced who his bias was. “J-Hope is my favorite just because he's got a little bit of street cred, like myself,” he explained.
Recently, John Cena sat down for an interview in Korea to promote his movie Bumblebee. As expected, he was asked about BTS and being an ARMY.
The interviewer asked him if who his favorite BTS member is. “Well, I’m partial to J-Hope,” John Cena replied. ARMYs then shared how happy they are for the actor being a J-Hope fanboy.
“The most favorite member of Jonh Cena is HOBI!!!!! Can't express how happy I am,” one said. “John Cena the best j-hope's fanboy. I really want to see a photo of John Cena and J-hope,” another one shared.
It looks like we have a loyal J-Hope stan here.
