Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will not have a new baby this year. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly not giving priority to expanding their family in 2020.
According to royal expert Omid Scobie, Prince Harry and Meghan will be keeping their focus on their royal engagements. The Sussex pair will have a busy year ahead of them that they won't likely give their son, Archie Harrison, a little brother or sister.
Scobie also said that Prince Harry and Meghan are going to travel more to Canada for 2020. But most of these travels will be for work and not for pleasure, despite the Sussex pair loving the country.
The royal commentator said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex regard Canada as a safe place. When they spent their Christmas holidays in Vancouver, Prince Harry and Meghan were hardly bothered by the locals and they could walk the town unnoticed but it's still too early to conclude that they will be looking for a permanent second home in the North American country.
Despite Scobie's pronouncements about Meghan Markle's second pregnancy, some royal observers note that there's a different glow to the duchess when she came back from their holiday in Canada. According to Daily Mail, the hosts of the Australian morning show Sunrise think that Prince Harry's wife might be expecting could with child again.
Prince Harry and Meghan visited the Canada House on Tuesday, Jan. 7. It was the first outing of the couple back from their holiday abroad but the hosts of Sunrise seemed to notice something peculiar about the Duchess of Sussex.
They pointed out that Meghan looks like she has a baby bump and was hiding it under her tan coat. In fact, some of them pointed out that Meghan was holding her coat much like when she was concealing her first pregnancy with Archie more than a year ago.
When Prince Harry and Meghan visited Australia in October 2018, Meghan carried things to cover her almost obvious baby bump. A month afterwards, Buckingham Palace announced that the Sussex royals were expecting their first child.
Meanwhile, Canada House High Commissioner to the U.K. Janice Charette said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to open up opportunities to establish projects to benefit the people of Canada, which is part of the Commonwealth. Charette said that Prince Harry and Meghan's priorities are gender equality and empowerment, mental health, homelessness and the youth.
In the next few weeks, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to make more announcements about their planned engagement for 2020. This year, Prince Harry and Meghan will also be launching their Sussex Royal Foundation.
