The Philippines is, currently, facing a calamity after the Taal volcano spewed hot lava and ash on January 12. The eruption forced residents to evacuate their homes as advised by officials.
Taal volcano is the second most active volcano in the Philippines, located in the province of Batangas. The last time it erupted was 43 years ago.
Now, people in the Philippines, even those who are far from the affected area, are taking to social media to ask for prayers from people all around the world. One ARMY took to Weverse to post a series of photos of the Taal volcano eruption and captioned it: “Please help, Philippine Army… please.”
This plea garnered a lot of sympathy from ARMYs, and it even reached V. The BTS star has been in the Philippines before and has shown his love for the country and fans.
Realizing the severity of the Taal volcano eruption, V replied on the PH ARMY’s post. “I've been feeling really bad lately. Please don't let anyone get hurt, and I don't want nature to hurt people anymore. Please, please,” he wrote.
V is also known for replying to fans’ posts on Weverse. Normally, he would reply to topics about BTS, or when an ARMY mentioned his name. But, seeing him comment on a post that had nothing to do with BTS shows that he’s been reading ARMYs general posts as well.
As expected, V’s reply touched a lot of PH ARMYs hearts. “I’ve never felt so loved in my entire life. Taehyung is so sweet,” one wrote. “As a Filipino, this is so kind and sweet,” another one shared. “You’re so kind Taehyung,” one Filipino ARMY commented.
Since V commented on the post, it garnered even more attention since Weverse users, who are following BTS’ account receive notifications every time the members leave a comment on a post. After seeing V’s reply, many also sympathized with the victims of the Taal volcano eruption.
“This situation is really sad, I just hope this doesn’t get worst. Just wishing things get better for the Philippines. I’ll be praying for them,” one wrote. “Please everyone in the Philippines, stay safe. My heart hurts too Tae to see all these sufferings,” another one commented. “Praying for the Philippines,” one ARMY shared. “Everyone, please help the Filipino ARMYs… Please,” one begged.
ARMYs already know that V has a pure heart. However, the BTS star just keeps reminding everyone that he is indeed a wingless angel.
