It has been proven, time and time again, that Prince Harry would do anything to protect Meghan Markle. In fact, the Duke of Sussex even turned his back on being a senior royal just so he could focus on his wife and their baby boy Archie.
The younger son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana had been very patient with the media. However, when he married Meghan Markle in 2018, Prince Harry quickly realized that this is not just about him anymore and decided to fight back against people who are spreading false stories about the former actress.
Now, a new report revealed that Prince Harry confronted David Beckham about the leaked information about Meghan Markle. The Duke of Sussex has learned that some details of their conversation had been leaked to the media and the Duchess feared that Victoria may be the culprit.
“When Meghan moved to London, Victoria shared a whole bunch of beauty tips but not long after, some of these emerged in print and Meghan was furious,” the source said. “Inexplicably, she feared Victoria was behind it — I mean, the idea that Victoria Beckham would be personally ringing journalists to give them a scoop is ridiculous — and spoke to Harry about it,” it went on.
Prince Harry, reportedly, wanted to know the truth before things would get out of hand so he called his good friend David Beckham. The 44-year-old former professional footballer, then, denied that Victoria Beckham had anything to do with it.
“Harry was very polite, but obviously it was a pretty awkward exchange and David was mortified,” the insider shared. "He quickly put Harry right, and the two men agreed to move on — but it certainly made things awkward for a while. It later turned out the leak probably came from a beauty salon. Afterward, they got things back on track, but it took a few months," it continued.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were heavily criticized for their decision to spend the holidays in the U.S. instead of spending it with Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, just recently, announced that they will be stepping back from being senior royals to be away from the limelight and just focus on their family and charities. The royal couple also shared that they aim to be “financially independent.”
However, LBC’s Nick Ferrari said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wish to be “financially independent” is impossible considering their lavish lifestyle. He, then, noted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just took a six-week break while the rest of the royal family do all the work. He just can't seem to see the Duke of Sussex’s sense of duty.
