BTS usually reacts on their own music videos hours or minutes before it will be officially released on YouTube and other social media platforms for the whole world to see. In a new Bangtan Bomb episode uploaded to BTS‘s BANGTANTV YouTube channel, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook sat down to film their reaction video for their new single “Black Swan.”

But BTS’ “Black Swan” music video is very different from their previous ones. The pre-release track from their upcoming album Map of the Soul: 7 features the MN Dance Company from Slovenia and it led some of the BTS members very confused.

Before pressing the play button, Suga pointed out that they will not be in the art film. “We’re not in the music video, which is something new for us,” he said. But once they played their “Black Swan” music video, things quickly became confusing to them.

“Hey, there’s seven (people in the video),” a very surprised Jimin commented. “Is that us?” Jin wondered. “When did we shoot this?” Jimin asked. Jin then finally realized the truth and said, “it’s not us, not us. There’s someone with long hair. It’s not us.”

Yes. Jin only confirmed that it’s not them on the “Black Swan” art film because “there’s someone with long hair.” If you’re wondering how can someone forget filming a music video for their upcoming album? Your guess is just as good as ours. And that’s what made this whole thing hilarious.

But that’s not the only thing that the BTS boys were confused about. When the music started, J-Hope pointed out that it was a different track. A worried Suga then asked him, “is our choreo changing?” J-Hope explained that the version is only different for the “Black Swan” art film, which means that the choreography that they have practiced for the single will remain as it is.

However, Suga still couldn't get over the different track and asked, “Is this track going to be on the streaming sites?” J-Hope responded, “Not sure,” and RM said, “I don’t think so.” Jin then chimed in, “I think this one's for the music video.”

Meanwhile, the “Black Swan” art film is something that BTS has not done before, which is why there were so captivated by the music video. Their previous reaction videos were full of screaming, clapping, and laughing. This time, they were all focused and quiet.
