BTS V never expected the simple act of tying his hair to cause WeVerse to crash. However, the BTS member should not have been surprised given the strength of ARMYs and V stans.

According to a report by All Kpop, BTS V caused the WeVerse platform to crash after he replied to a fan question about what he was doing the night after he debuted as RJ and drank grape juice.

V reportedly replied that he was tying his hair and this immediately put fans into a frenzy of comments that caused the entire platform to crash. His hair tying announcement also reached the top of Daum's trending topics. Hair tying also became a twitter trend in 25 countries. WeVerse crash also trended at No. 5 in Korea as a result.

V also shared a snap of his woke up like this look and poked fun at himself for looking puffy like a pancake. Apparently, fans could not contain their excitement over his morning visuals and posted positive comments online, prompting the creation of the Pancake Nation.

BTS V is currently in LA with his fellow BTS members to promote their new song Black Swan from their comeback album Map of the Soul: 7, which is already breaking pre-order records globally. The seven-member group composed of RM, J-Hope, Jin, Jimin, Suga, V, and Jungkook will be the featured guests at iHeartRadio LIVE with BTS on January 27 to discuss their new album with 102.7 KIIS FM's Jojo Wright.

BTS is expected to be busy in the lead up to their album release on February 21 because of international activities lined up to promote the album. Among the activities lined up are the Connect, BTS series in several world locations, teaser and MV releases, and interviews.

Apart from crashing social media platforms and promoting for BTS' new album, V also had the rare chance to hang out with his Wooga Squad brother Choi Woo Shik, who was also in Los Angeles to attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Choi Woo Shik, along with his co-stars for director Bong Joon Ho's critically acclaimed Parasite, charted a historic win at the SAG Awards for being the first foreign ensemble to take home the Best Cast Award, reported THR.

Parasite is also nominated for Best Director, Best International Feature Film, Best Original Screenplay, Best Production Design, and Best Film Editing at the 92nd Oscar Awards.

V and Choi Woo Shik celebrated the latter's victory by taking a casual stroll through LA and binging on delicious burgers.
