Kate Middleton and Prince William may probably be the most affected royals after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their exit earlier this month. Aside from the fact that they all used to work and live together inside the Kensington Palace, the two princes are very close brothers.

It is only this week when the deal was finalized. Shortly after releasing the details, the royal-born prince flew back to Canada to reunite with his family.

While the Sussex family now seems to be adjusting in the new chapter of their lives as non-working royals, it was recently reported that the case is likely different for the Cambridge couple. As claimed by sources, the "Megxit" deal still has them "reeling."

According to Fox News, royal expert Katie Nicholl shared with various publications that Prince William and Kate Middleton are still trying to "come to terms" with the Sussex couple's exit. The "severity" of their royal split has had a huge impact on Prince Harry's "brother and sister-in-law," she added.

Despite the fact that the Duke of Cambridge was included in "crisis talk" that happened in Sandringham for the finalization of the "Megxit" deal, everything has been quite hard for him to accept the reality of the situation. The royal expert further added that the same is also true for the other members of the British Royal Family, especially Queen Elizabeth II.

As per Express UK, Prince Charles has been "floored" by recent events. Not only that he was reportedly not aware of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's initial plans but, he was also said to describe the situation as "another mess" in his "doorstep."

Even so, sources from the publication revealed that the Duke of Sussex "patched things up" with him, especially with his brother, Prince William. It was not shared, though, as to how this happened or what was the outcome of their alleged private discussions to fix things between them.

With these things at hand, it is not surprising anymore why the Cambridge couple reportedly felt "upset" and shaken. Yet, much more recent reports claimed that they are now coping up.

Based on claims, Kate Middleton and Prince William received a "huge boost" during their royal engagement in Bradford. Upon showing a "united front" amid all the controversies surrounding "Megxit," the Cambridge couple was said to receive a very "warm welcome" from their fans, which helped them to further accept the reality that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now living independently outside the monarchy.
