Kylie Jenner can't still believe that the helicopter that Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, lost their lives in is the same chopper that she regularly flew on. It was also revealed that Kylie even Chartered the same ride for her niece, Dream Kardashian, on her third birthday in November 2019.
Jenner paid tribute to the late NBA legend and shared her personal ties to the aircraft and the pilot of the ill-fated helicopter. The 22-year-old reality star mentioned she had been flying using the same helicopter and pilot, Ara Zobayan. She remembered the pilot as a nice man.
Kylie also shared a photo of the nine victims and asked her followers to pray for the bereaved families. The chopper that Kobe was on crashed at a hilly terrain of Calabasas, California on Sunday while on its way to Mamba Sports Academy in Newbury Park.
As Kylie recalled her frequent flights with the same chopper, she failed to mention that she once chartered it for her niece, Dream. Apparently, Kylie rented the same Sikorsky S-76 chopper for the first helicopter ride of Dream on her birthday about three months before the fatal crash.
In November, the fan page for Dream's dad, Rob Kardashian, posted photos of the child smiling while standing in front of the chopper and then buckling into her seat. Kylie allegedly commented on the photos and said, "You are a gift" to Dream.
The child's mother, Blac Chyna, was not happy to hear about Dream's helicopter ride. Chyna issued a statement accusing the makeup mogul of capitalizing on Kobe's death and claiming that she never give Kylie permission to bring Dream on a helicopter ride. Chyna was previously engaged to Kylie's half-brother Rob.
"No parents should find out after the fact that their child has participated in a dangerous activity without their permission," she stated.
It is now expected that Chyna would be using Dream's birthday gift ride in her ongoing custody battle with Rob. A few weeks ago, Rob filed court documents alleging that Chyna is the "danger" to their child's well-being.
He claimed her former girlfriend parties hard with strangers in the presence of Dream. According to Us Weekly, it was also started in the court documents that Chyna is often drunk, use cocaine, often makes violent threats to people, and fails to properly look after their daughter's hygiene.
