Even after they have stepped back as senior members of the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still hounded by paparazzi. By the looks of it, the couple will not get a reprieve from the press anytime soon and, according to one of Harry's close friends, this is not normal.

Argentinian polo-player Nacho Figueras revealed that, even after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to Canada along with their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, a hundred paparazzi can still be seen outside their home. Figueras said this is the reason why Harry had turned his back on royal duties.

"He has suffered a lot for all the things that have happened to him...He was the son of someone who suffered attacks from the press and it's undeniable. He doesn't want that to happen for his family," Figueras said.

The 42-year-old polo player said Harry is like any other man who is trying to protect his wife and child. Figueras stated Harry's mother, Princess Diana, would surely be proud of what his son has achieved.

Harry and Meghan created a frenzy around the world and a crisis at the royal family earlier this year after they announced that they would want to step back as senior members of the royal family. The couple also revealed that they want to become financially independent and intend to split their time between the United Kingdom and North America.

Harry returned to the U.K. to meet with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, as well as his father, Prince Charles, and brother, Prince William. After the royal summit, the monarch decided to grant the Sussexes' wish.

However, experts believed that there is a lot at stake now for the couple, more than before. ABC News foreign correspondent James Longman said every single moment in the couple's life, whether it's a commercial deal or a second baby, will create more interest to the public more than ever.

"There'll be less of an organized structure around them every time they go to an event We saw it with Harry's mother."

British author Anna Pasternak added Harry and Meghan might have struggled to handle the paparazzi as they will have less of an organized security structure now. She said the public saw it happen to Diana. It can be recalled that the Princess of Wales died in a car crash in Paris in 1997 that, allegedly, involved some paparazzi.

Meanwhile, a source close to the Sussexes revealed to ABC News that the legal team of the couple has already issued a legal notice to U.K. media and photo agencies concerning the use of paparazzi photos.
