The report revealed that the cutting-edge facility would have a modular satellite manufacturing center, satellite testing center, research and development center, and a cloud computing center. These facilities would also develop and produce a variety of different satellite models.

The satellite strategy was developed by Geespace, a Geely company that develops, launches, and operates low-orbit satellites. It was also announced that by the end of 2020, Geespace would launch its commercial low-orbit satellite network that would oversee highly accurate navigation for self-driving cars.
