There is little doubt that Taehyun is the one member of Tomorrow X Together who enjoys interacting with fans on social media. MOAs have noted that Kang Taehyun loves responding to their comments and is always ready to answer questions on Weverse. But what happens when a fan is trying to get the attention of Hueningkai instead? Taehyun decided to give the MOA what she was asking for in his own hilarious way.
Interestingly, Taehyun has been active on the official Tomorrow X Together Weverse for a long time before he found out that it is possible for artists to change their nickname. A fan told Kang Taehyun about this feature and the idol was initially uncertain, even asking the MOA if she works for his company Big Hit Entertainment. However, it didn't take long before Taehyun realized it is possible to do so and began changing his nickname on the platform. Not surprisingly, he even told fellow TXT member Beomgyu that they could change their nicknames and his hyung immediately followed suit.
But, does the namechanging have any special benefits? Taehyun would soon realize that it does come in handy when he wants to please the fans. One fan posted on the Tomorrow X Together Weverse in hopes to catch Huengingkai's attention. According to the MOA, it was her birthday and she was hoping to get a special message from the TXT member to congratulate her so she could do something "difficult or hard to do."
Unfortunately, Hueningkai was not active on the Tomorrow X Together Weverse at the time. However, Taehyun was quick to swoop in for the rescue. Kang Taehyun immediately changed his nickname into "TXT_Hueningkai" then proceeded to respond to the fan's post with a simple message: "Congratulations."
Sure, it's not the real Hueningkai but it's awesome to see that Taehyun has the sense of humor and concern for fans who were actually interested in another Tomorrow X Together member. Needless to say, it had several MOAs laughing and delighted over Kang Taehyun's love for all of the TXT fans.
Taehyun and the rest of Tomorrow X Together are believed to be working on their next comeback although this has yet to be officially confirmed by Big Hit Entertainment. In the meantime, fans can watch Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai during their training and debut days in the group's new show Talk X Today: Zero.
