They may be idols themselves but the members of SEVENTEEN also happen to be the biggest fanboys of other groups. For instance, DK and Hoshi have proven that they can't get enough of DAY6's songs, so much so that they decided to record covers of their favorite tunes. Not surprisingly, Carats are loving their version of the DAY6 singles. But could this mean that fans can look forward to a possible collaboration between the two groups?

The world is currently in quarantine due to the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) and although others are simply spending their time streaming films and TV shows, the members of SEVENTEEN are clearly eager to keep making music. Hoshi had previously tweeted an awesome tune he recorded while he is in Woozi's studio. Not to be outdone, DK decided to share a video of himself on Twitter where he is playing the guitar and singing a lovely ballad. Lee Seokmin's choice is the DAY6 song "When You Love Someone."

Needless to say, fans swooned over the Twitter post and praised DK for his beautiful cover of the DAY6 tune. However, Carats were not the only ones who were impressed. Fellow SEVENTEEN member Joshua reached out to Lee Seokmin on the group's Weverse to tell him that his guitar playing has improved greatly. The BSS Gag Team leader quickly responded to the post, thanking his hyung for the compliment.

Not surprisingly, Hoshi didn't want to be outdone by DK. Kwon Soonyoung would later post his own video on Twitter where he recorded a cover of DAY6's song "You Were Beautiful". Fans were quick to note that the leader of the Performance Team shared the video rather late and assumed that he had been working on the cover all day. Interestingly, the video even shows that Hoshi wrote down the lyrics himself and added a sweet illustration at the end of the video.

This isn't the first time that DK and Hoshi have exposed themselves as DAY6 fans. The two members of the Gag Team had previously shown up in fellow SEVENTEEN member Wonwoo's VLive broadcast and were caught singing a DAY6 song. The acapella cover on Jeon Wonwoo's VLive may have led to Lee Seokmin and Kwon Soonyoung deciding to record covers for their fans. Needless to say, Carats are grateful for their covers of the DAY6 tunes.

SEVENTEEN's second Japanese single "Fallin' Flower" will be released on April 1.
