Tablets have hardly made an impact anymore these days except perhaps for Apple's iPads and some Samsung Tabs. With most phones now sporting bigger screens plus some connectivity options, consumers no longer need to bring along tablets anywhere they go.

However, there are still some folks who use tablets. In schools, the shift from books to tablets has been growing while there are still some people who prefer to get one either for work or for entertainment purposes. However, most are not too keen on the idea of spending heavily on one, making the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite worth looking into.

Samsung is best known for tablets when one thinks about the Galaxy Tab S, Slash Gear reported. But if consumers can get more price off then perhaps the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite makes plenty of sense. And for those who may be interested, it would be best not to get too excited from the specs. It is a mid-range offering and may lack some of the high-end features one would find from the iPad or the Galaxy Tab S.

WinFuture came out with the full specs of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite although some are already known. Some already know that the tablet will come with an Exynos 9611 processor, the same chip that powers mobile phones such as the Samsung Galaxy A51. Last year, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 had the Snapdragon 855.

Other specs of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite include a 10.4-inch LCD with a 2000x1200 resolution. It comes packed with 4 GB of RAM and default internal storage capacity of 64 GB. It was not mentioned but there is a possibility that other models with higher capacity (128 GB) could be available. Like most tablets, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes with a front and rear camera. The front-facing snapper is a 5 MP shooter while the rear holds an 8 MP camera.

Having read the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, there is no question that this is a device meant for people who just want a tablet for simple uses. Its performance is unlikely to be abreast with the higher-spec tablets out today and this may limit interest to the working class or perhaps students.

It will be interesting how many Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite were produced. But looking at the bright side, folks who want a cheaper and Android-powered tablet may as well get something from a proven brand like Samsung.
