Royal weddings are not just important to the royal family but to the public as well. So, when it was announced that Princess Beatrice would be tying the knot with Italian property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi this year, many were excited about it.

However, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were and are still dealing with a lot of issues before their nuptials. The couple is set to say their “I dos” next month, but they are forced to postpone due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Before the global health crisis, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s wedding was also threatened after the bride-to-be’s father Prince Andrew withdrew from royal life for “the foreseeable future” following a scandalous interview with BBC Newsnight, where his alleged involvement to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s scandal was discussed.

Then earlier this year, Princess Beatrice’s cousin Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle announced that they will be stepping down from being senior royals. Recently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have officially turned their backs on their roles.

With a lot of things going on in the royal family and the world, a royal expert claims that Princess Beatrice may “never get married."

"Princess Eugenie, you remember her? She's the one who got married to Jack Brooksbank,” Angela Mollard said. "Obviously her sister is the poor royal bride who is never going to get married it seems. Eugenie is living with her mum, Fergie. Sarah Ferguson. They're at the royal lodge together. We know this because on Friday we found out the Duchess of York was handing out treats to NHS workers. She has a friend who runs a German confectionery company and she had this big delivery of confectionaries. They're putting together these care packages for doctors and staff at London hospitals, driving them to the hospitals and dropping them off. In the packages, they've got toothpaste, soap, dry pasta, cereal, and tinned fruit."

It was, previously, reported that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s nuptials will not be covered by BBC. The British public service broadcaster said that it will not show extended live footage of the wedding, but will only offer “news coverage of the wedding across our services” instead.

ITV, which covered Princess Beatrice’s sister Princess Eugenie’s wedding with Jack Brooksbank in 2018, has not confirmed if it will be covering the upcoming royal nuptials. “We can’t comment any further on the situation surrounding Beatrice coverage until our teams are fully back in place next week,” an ITV spokeswoman said.
