Sophie Wessex may not be as popular as some members of the royal family like Kate Middleton or Meghan Markle. However, she does something else to stand out as carries out her work for Queen Elizabeth.

According to fashion analyst Kate Stacey, Sophie, who has been a member of the royal family for over 20 years, makes bold choices when it comes to her clothes. She likes to experiment with colors and prints that catch attention and make her standout. However, she also makes sure she's still keeping with the royal fashion rules of not wearing short dresses or V-neck and plunging tops.

Sophie is not afraid to show her personality in the clothes that she wears. According to the analyst, it's perhaps one of the reasons why she has become a well-loved royal.

But Sophie's style has changed over the years, per Daily Express and it may have been a reflection of her changing role in the royal family. In recent years, the Countess of Wessex has been delegated more work as the Queen's favorite daughter-in-law. Royal experts said that Sophie is expected to take on more assignments and tasks this year following the departure of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, from the royal family.

Meanwhile, Sophie just proved how much she is committed to her royal duties. Amid the coronavirus lockdown, the Countess of Wessex still went out of her way to visit a charity in person, while wearing a face mask and gloves to protect herself and the people around her.

Surrey Health Borough Council confirmed on Twitter that Sophie visited the Hope Hub near her home in Bagshot Park. The countess was on hand to pack some emergency food parcels along with other volunteers. These items will be distributed to the homeless in the city.

While packing the food, Sophie made sure to be two meters apart from the other volunteers. They still observed the social distancing guidelines set by the U.K. government amid the coronavirus lockdown.

In late March, Sophie also teamed up with her daughter, Lady Louise, to reassure parents on lockdown that they are not alone. She provided links to charities and resources that parents may tap to stimulate their kids when going out is not possible at this time.

Royal experts said that Sophie is the Queen's secret weapon in their duty as public servants. Though she keeps a low profile, the wife of Prince Edward enjoys what she does and can always be counted on by Queen Elizabeth.
