A very fine line separates love and hate and it comes as no surprise that some of the most successful Kpop idols are also the subject of rabid hate and criticism from anti-fans.

According to a report by Koreaboo, among the idols who receive a lot of flak if BLACKPINK's Jennie. It can be recalled that she was rumored to have a bad attitude and was bashed for her lazy dancing. However, as critics hit her with more negative comments, BLINKs closed ranks and defended her, saying that she works just as hard as other members of her team. They also said that Jennie's outspokenness is sometimes misinterpreted for a diva attitude.

(G)I-DLE's Soyeon also received criticism for, allegedly, using cultural appropriation for (G)I-DLE's music. In particular, she suggested incorporating some African style singing and the use of tribal instruments for a performance on Queendom which some netizens viewed as disrespectful. Fans also came to her rescue and explained that she only intended to express her music more artistically.

She was not the first artist to be accused of cultural appropriation as GOT7's Jackson Wang and EXO's Kai also experienced the same when they were featured wearing dreadlocks for separate projects.

Kai is also one of the Kpop idols who receive a lot of flak from netizens. While he enjoys great popularity and support among EXO-Ls and SuperM fans, he has been the subject of criticism for previous dating scandals with f(x) Krystal and BLACKPINK's Jennie.

Jungkook, V and Jimin, the youngest members of BTS may spark trending topics by simply breathing but they are also some of the most criticized members of their team. It can be recalled that Jungkook's alleged dating scandal wreaked havoc among the ARMY fandom, as well as his recent car accident, while Jimin has, reportedly, been targeted by akgae fans because of his popularity.

ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo may be known as a face genius and for his great and down to earth personality but it is also for these reasons that he receives the most criticism. While Arohas would like to defend him, they could not structure an apt comeback for criticisms about Eun Woo being too handsome.

Another idol who is mocked for her strong visuals is TWICE's Tzuyu. Anti fans have criticized her for not having strong vocals and lacking emotion on stage, something that ONCEs have strongly contested.

MOMOLAND's Nancy may have started on the wrong foot by making a joke about eating disorders early in her career. She was also rumored to be dating a member of The Boyz last year. The dating rumors have been debunked by MLD Entertainment and fans seem to have forgiven her for the bulimic joke.

Also among the idols who are no strangers to hate are Red Velvet's Yeri, IZ*ONE's Sakura and IU, who is recently receiving plenty of bashing from BTS Jungkook's fans after he described her as his ideal type.
