Meghan Markle "dropped" several huge things in her life to be able to tie the knot with Prince Harry. Upon entering the royal life through marriage, she had to quit her career in acting and other endeavors that she pursued through the years.

One of these endeavors included her lifestyle blog, The Tig. The Duchess even, reportedly, used to refer to it as her "personal passion."

In 2014, she launched the blog, wherein she shared tips and hacks on "beauty, travel, fashion, health," and other things that may improve the quality of one's life. It was also revealed that the name of the blog is literally the "shortened version" of her favorite wine, Tignanello.

As per Cheat Sheet, Meghan Markle previously shared why she chose this name for her blog. She, reportedly, said that when she first tasted the said wine, she finally understood what it meant when people discussed the "body, structure, finish, and legs" of a wine.

It was the first moment of "getting it," the Duchess said. This is why the name of the blog, reportedly, means "finally getting it," not just with wine but in everything else under the sun, especially in life.

Before getting married, Meghan Markle shut down The Tig for good. Aside from her lifestyle blog, she also deactivated her personal social media accounts on Instagram and Twitter.

As revealed, she had over 3 million followers on Instagram, 350,000 followers on Twitter, and 800,000 likes on Facebook. But, despite the huge figures, she had to cancel and deactivate these things upon becoming a member of the British Royal Family.

The case has become very intriguing these days as she is no longer a working royal. In January, she and Prince Harry announced that they intend to step back as senior royals. Nearly two months after, they officially exited and has since relocated to the United States.

In a report released by Evening Standard, royal experts recently asserted that Meghan Markle will soon relaunch her lifestyle blog. Aside from this, they also believe that the Duchess of Sussex will open a new personal account on Instagram.

Royal commentator, Myka Meier, reportedly, shared that it is very likely to happen given that they are no longer senior members of the Royal Family. She also noted that the new blog might be inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop.

However, while royal expert, Leslie Carroll, reportedly, agrees that Meghan Markle might launch a new blog soon, she contended that it will be different from the Goop. She also added that the new "passion project" will certainly be different from The Tig.
