Prince William and Prince Harry had a very close brotherly relationship. Experts even noted that the strong bond between them was the result of their mother, Princess Diana's passing during their teenage years.

Through the years, both of the royal siblings manifested happy and vibrant ties with each other. In fact, this was also apparent even when Kate Middleton arrived in their lives.

However, things changed when Meghan Markle entered the picture. Since the start of the Sussex couple's marriage, reports pointed out that there was a huge shift in the relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry. From then on, the royal Wales princes have become the center of many feuding allegations.

The speculations have been further strengthened when the Duke of Sussex spoke on record that they are now heading toward different paths. This then made fans and experts conclude that they are no longer the way they used to be.

Months after the bombshell interview, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their exit. Several individuals reportedly said that this worsened the rift between the Cambridges and the Sussexes. Although no confirmations have been made, it has since appeared that they no longer talk to each other.

Speaking to Express UK, royal expert, Leslie Carroll shared that the reported rift between Prince Harry and Prince William has "gone on" for quite a long time now. She then said that because of this, it is likely that they don't talk to each other amid the pandemic crisis.

The expert deemed the whole situation as saddening since no one knows what "it would take for the breach to heal." But, she pointed out that, despite his struggles, the Duke of Cambridge must "accept" that his brother is "his own man." He should also understand that the Duke of Sussex makes "his own choices," she added.

Royal expert and author, Katie Nicholl, however, contended that the royal siblings are now "back in touch" with each other. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said that Prince William and Prince Harry are "in touch on the phone."

She continued to assert that the royal siblings "have done video calls together." It made sense, though, as several members of the Royal Family had just celebrated their birthdays amid the pandemic crisis.

Also, one of the reasons why they reportedly got "back in touch" was Prince Charles. He contracted the virus a few months ago and it "forced" them to really "pick up the phone," she concluded.
