They say it’s hard to find a well-mannered guy nowadays. And, for that well-mannered guy to be good looking at the same time is like dreaming for something impossible.
However, Jin has broken stereotypes multiple times. It’s no secret that the BTS star is ridiculously good looking, hence his title as the “Worldwide Handsome.” Science even backed up his claim when he won an award for having the world’s “best-sculpted face.”
But Jin’s good looks are not the only thing that he can offer. While beautiful people are mostly seen as prim and proper, the “Epiphany” singer is not afraid to be funny and look silly. In fact, he previously shared that it gives him so much joy if he makes other people laugh.
Another stereotype about good looking people is that they don’t really have to be nice to be liked as their gorgeous faces are enough to earn praises. But Jin doesn’t rely on his good looks for people to like him.
The truth is that Jin had always been well-mannered despite his “Worldwide Handsome” status and his college professor could attest to this. ARMYs know that Jin debuted with BTS while attending college at the same time.
But because of his schedule, Jin wasn’t able to attend some of his classes as much as he wanted to. But instead of expecting that his professor would understand his K-pop idol lifestyle, the BTS star had always reached out to him to let him know that he will be absent due to particular circumstances.
As if that’s not enough, Jin would ask for permission when to call his professor to explain his situation. This clearly showed his polite manner. One time, Jin messaged his professor that he wouldn’t be able to attend his class because he was set to perform at MAMA. He also apologized for this.
“Hello, professor this is BTS’s Jin. I am currently in Hong Kong to perform at the Mnet MAMA and will not be able to make it to class,” Jin wrote. “I am very sorry.”
As for class projects, Jin didn’t want to be a burden to his classmates, knowing that he will not be able to give more help than he should, so he would ask his professor to give him an alternative project instead.
