It has been a long wait for the second season of The Umbrella Academy but it looks like fans finally got some good news. The wildly successful Netflix series will soon be returning to the streaming service with new episodes that will reveal what happened to the Hargreeves siblings after they caused the Apocalypse. Not surprisingly, the Umbrella Academy Season 2 premiere date was announced in the best way possible. The announcement video featured the cast in quarantine paying tribute to one of the most iconic scenes from the first season.

The announcement video was shared by the official Netflix YouTube channel and it opens with a record being played. Soon, it is shown that the cast is dancing along with the song 'I Think We're Alone Now' by Tiffany. This time, they aren't in the Hargreeves mansion in separate locations. Instead, the actors are shown in their own homes having fun dancing to the tune while in quarantine.

The original scene from the first season of The Umbrella Academy actually started with Luther playing the record in his own room. However, the music can be heard throughout the mansion and although the other siblings initially didn't mind it too much, they were soon dancing along with the song. Klaus is even shown dancing with their father's urn in the sequence.

One of the cool new things about the Umbrella Academy Season 2 announcement video is that the rest of the Hargreeves siblings have joined in the dance. Five and Ben, who were not in the original scene, are now part of the hilarious dance sequence while in quarantine. Needless to say, their appearance is a welcome sight for fans. This also means that Ben Hargreeves, who was with his siblings when Five decided to go back to the past, will be alive and is set to play a major role in the second season.

The Umbrella Academy Season 2 will once again star Ellen Page as Vanya Hargreeves, Tom Hopper as Luther Hargreeves, David Castañeda as Diego Hargreeves, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison Hargreeves, Robert Sheehan as Klaus Hargreeves, Aidan Gallagher as Five. Justin H. Min, who previously had a recurring role as the deceased Ben Hargreeves, will be part of the main cast in the second season. It is still unclear if Mary J. Blige and Cameron Britton will return as Cha-Cha and Hazel in the next chapter of the Netflix series.

The Umbrella Academy Season 2 will air on Netflix on July 31.
