Princess Beatrice is receiving some hope and love from her mother, Sarah Ferguson, on what would have been the most memorable day of her life. The York royal would have walked down the aisle and exchanged vows with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on Friday, May 29, but the wedding has been put on hold because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Nevertheless, the Duchess of York celebrated her daughter's wedding by posting a special message for Princess Beatrice and Edo. In a post on Instagram, Sarah, who is more commonly called Fergie, said that she is excited to celebrate the love between Princess Beatrice and Edo "when we all are out of lockdown."

Fergie shared her message with a photo of baby Princess Beatrice. She told her daughter that the most important thing right now, despite her wedding's push back, is that they are healthy.

Princess Beatrice has not been staying with her mother during this coronavirus lockdown. Fergie revealed that her daughter is with Edo and his mother, Nikki Williams-Ellis, who is also a dear friend of the duchess.

The couple decided to postpone their wedding after it was growing clear that they will not be able to celebrate it the way they want because of the health concerns. For one thing, a lot of the guests will be from the vulnerable sector, including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip and Edo's father, Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, a member of an Italian noble family.

A spokesperson for Princess Beatrice told the press that they were looking forward to getting married. However, they were also very much aware to avoid causing unnecessary risks to their guests. Thus, in line with the advice of the government, Princess Beatrice and Edo have decided to hold off their May 29 wedding. Even Buckingham Palace has canceled their wedding reception at the gardens as early as the middle of March.

Princess Beatrice and Edo might consider an even smaller wedding if the government has eased its rules about mass gathering. As it is, the couple were not actually planning to have a lot of guests unlike other royal weddings.

Prior to the virus outbreak, the York princess had to make several changes to her wedding plans allegedly because of her father, Prince Andrews' controversy. Sources said that Princess Beatrice had to move her wedding date twice because of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal tied to the Duke of York.

Princess Beatrice and Edo were engaged in September 2019 after a few years of dating. They announced the date of their wedding early this year, before the pandemic stalled the world.
