Queen Elizabeth reportedly scolded her grandson after Prince Harry had a row with one of the royal aides. The Duke of Sussex apparently used bad language and behaved rudely toward Angela Kelly, the Queen's dresser and confidante, because Meghan Markle wasn't able to try on a tiara for her and Harry's wedding day.

According to reports, Prince Harry was angry because Kelly had to "drag her feet" to London to open the container where Queen Elizabeth's tiaras are securely kept. Royal sources said that Prince Harry used offensive language and was "downright rude" because of his anger.

Prince Harry felt that some members of the royal staff didn't like Meghan, especially the "old guards." Kelly has been designing, maintaining and curating the Queen's wardrobe since the 1990s.

Kelly apparently learned of the Duke of Sussex's outburst and informed his grandmother about it. Queen Elizabeth then summoned Prince Harry for a meeting, where he was "put firmly in his place."

Details of this outburst are part of the biography Finding Freedom, which was written by royal correspondents Omid Cobie and Carolyn Durand. However, a source revealed to Daily Mail that this was not exactly how they recalled the incident.

The source said that Meghan and her hairdresser who flew into London wanted to try on the tiara for a hair practice. Kelly was not able to arrange the release of the tiara because Meghan didn't make an appointment with her. However, the source said that the Duchess of Sussex was insistent since they were already in Buckingham Palace.

Kelly apparently turned her down because Meghan failed to follow protocol. The Queen's dresser told her she cannot "turn up and demand to have the tiara."

Prince Harry then rang other people to persuade Kelly to come to London and accommodate Meghan's request. When he could not do anything, Prince Harry felt that Kelly deliberately tried to snub Meghan but the source said this wasn't a snub on Kelly's part as she was simply following protocol.

The Duke of Sussex's frustration with some of the old guards at the Palace is the running theme in Finding Freedom. Apparently, Prince Harry blasted the institution he himself is part of as he perceived his wife was not fairly treated.

Finding Freedom will be out in shelves on Aug. 11, but Prince Harry and Meghan's people said that the Sussex pair was never interviewed for the book.
