NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 has not started filming yet and there are still uncertainties as to when everyone can go back to work. The series may not start production anytime soon due to the current health crisis in Los Angeles County. Despite the wait, a lot of stories are coming once the new season premieres on CBS.

Marty Deeks and Kensi Byle's relationship is one of the most interesting parts of the series, and we could see more of their stories in NCIS: Los Angeles season 12. It's exciting to see what else is coming for them, especially since they've been trying to figure out what they really want for their future.

In terms of their professional lives, we could see both Deeks and Kensi teaming on certain cases and doing undercover missions. The two aren't being paired because Deeks is with the LAPD. But, it would be nice to see them working together and sharing some of their work ideas to each other.

When it comes to their romantic relationship, the most interesting part is whether or not they'll decide to start a family. There is no guarantee that this thing will happen in NCIS: Los Angeles season 12. However, it has been hinted that both Deeks and Kensi are open to the possibility.

The biggest problem, however, is that there could be a lot of conflicts coming along the way. The two are happily married and have stable jobs, but that doesn't necessarily mean they won't be facing challenges in the future. Some things won't be easy for them if ever they decide to start their own family.

The idea of raising a child doesn't always work for all people, including Deeks and Kensi.  Having a baby might be challenging for them, largely because they're both dedicated to their jobs. The two will likely be contemplating their future and will try to figure out what they really want.

In a previous interview with TV Insider, executive producer Frank Military, also, hinted that a baby could be one of the biggest tests for Deeks and Kensi in NCIS: Los Angeles season 12. The latter, in particular, needs to grapple with the dilemma between her professional and personal life.

If they decided to have a start their own family in NCIS: Los Angeles season 12, having a baby is the major concern for them. While they wanted to have their own child, they also recognized the importance of their jobs. Their decisions might get even more complicated, causing problems in their marriage.
