Jennifer Garner seemed to seek some comfort from her friends after her split from John Miller. The 48-year-old actress went to a Malibu beach, and she looked in high spirits as she exchanged grinned with her pals.

Garner showed a huge smile on her face despite her breakup with the CaliBurger CEO. According to HollywoodLife, the Peppermint star enjoyed the company of her friends, while she looked absolutely stunning in her purple blouse and curve-hugging jeans.

She put her hair up in a bun and donned a dazzling pair of stunner shades that made her look like an ultimate chic. At one point, she could even be seen having fun talking with them while enjoying the beautiful sun of Los Angeles.

On the same day, reports emerged that Garner broke up with her boyfriend, Miller. They had been, reportedly, together for almost two years. By the looks of it, their split happened just "a while ago" after she was seen at the beach.

A source told HL the breakup just happened then, although the news about it already came out before her beach getaway. Their separation was said to be not dramatic. She, allegedly, felt she had to step back, and so she did.

Now, the insider added Garner feels "happier being single." She is now doing fine and has never been great.

Interestingly, Miller was seen with his ex-wife, Caroline Campbell, on the same day of their split. They were spotted getting into a Jeep and trying to keep a low profile after all the fuss surrounding his separation from Garner.

Miller and Campbell tied the knot in 2005 and filed for divorce twice - once in 2014 and 2016. Their divorce was then finalized in 2018.

Since then, he started dating Garner, and they tried their best to keep their romance notoriously private. They were rarely seen out and about -- only once when they had a theatre date in November 2019. At the time, reports emerged that they were already a couple.

After less than two years, a source told In Touch that they had parted ways even before the coronavirus lockdown began in Los Angeles. They remain on good terms, so there may be a possibility of a rekindled romance.

It may happen in the future, but for now, everything is over between them. Garner's rep has yet to comment on the issue. Before Garner started dating Miller, she was once married to Ben Affleck, to whom she was divorced since 2018.
