Rumors have it Angelina Jolie flirted with Chris Hemsworth that almost cost the latter's marriage with Elsa Pataky. A year after the news emerged, did Brad Pitt's ex destroy the couple's bond with her flirtatious moves?
Life & Style claimed Jolie and Hemsworth had an "instant connection" after sharing a Marvel panel at the 2019 Comic-Con. At the time, the 37-year-old attended the event for his movie, Thor: Love and Thunder, while it was the actress' Marvel debut through the film The Eternals.
Allegedly, their so-called instant connection caused a rift between Hemsworth and his wife, resulting in a huge "argument." An alleged source accused the 45-year-old actress of using her charm to "steal" other women's husbands that made Pataky jealous. Allegedly, Brad Pitt's ex-wife had a homewrecker reputation after being the apparent reason for the Ad Astra star and Jennifer Aniston's split.
Gossip Cop disproved this claim, stressing Pitt was the one who left Aniston. The only evidence the tabloid gave about Jolie's alleged flirting move with Hemsworth was her homewrecker image.
The publication noted the magazine did not give Jolie any amout of respect in its report, portraying her as "vindictive and reckless." A year after the news emerged, time proved Jolie did nothing to ruin Hemsworth's relationship with Pataky.
The Avengers star remained wedded to his 44-year-old model. However, in an interview, the Spanish actress admitted they, also, experienced "ups and downs" in their marriage.
Pataky revealed they were not a perfect couple, opposite of what people thought they were. The Fast Five star and her husband had been doing things for themselves. Although their bond was far from perfect, it was indeed a "solid marriage."
Sure, they often shared happy family photos on social media. However, E! News reported their romance was "far from easy." They had been through a lot of highs and lows.
But, they never gave up on each other. They were continuously working on their relationship. In fact, in December, they were about to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.
Pataky believed a relationship required "constant work." She could not deny it was not hard, but she always tried her best to see things positively.
Spending a decade together, Pataky said time only made their bond stronger. The Tidelands star and Hemsworth share three kids, India Rose, 8, and their twin sons Sasha and Tristan, 6. Jolie, alternatively, is still legally working on her divorce from Pitt.
