Keeping Up With The Kardashians is coming to an end. Kim Kardashian announced that the reality show will be having their last hooray next year and fans have mixed reactions about it.

Kim made the heartbreaking announcement in a lengthy message posted on her social media accounts along with the KUWTK Season 1 poster. On behalf of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, she thanked the fans who followed the famous family's journey for 14 years.

In the statement, Kim credited the show for the success that the family members have achieved. She said KUWTK changed their lives. It provided them a platform to jumpstart multiple business ventures.

Kim also expressed their gratitude to Ryan Seacrest and E! channel for believing in them. The American Idol host serves as executive producer of the show. The Skims founder said the last season of KUWTK will be aired early next year.

In a statement about the ending of KUWTK, E! said though they will miss the famous family, they respect their decision to "live their lives without our cameras." The network said the Season 19 of the show will premiere on September 19 while confirming Kim's announcement that the final installment will be released in 2021.

Meanwhile, the announcement about the future of Keeping Up With The Kardashians received mixed reactions from netizens and it also created new memes featuring momager Kris Jenner. Many believed that it is the end of an era while others think the family is just leaving E! but might produce their own show in the future. Others said the family is saving face as the show's viewership rating continues to drop.

Some also shared their theories that the family could be pulling the plug on KUWTK because of Kanye West's presidential bid. Kim's husband has been critical about the show though he occasionally appeared in the reality program along with children: North, 7, and Chicago, 2, Saint, 4, and Psalm, 1.

KUWTK is the longest-running reality television series in the U.S. At least eight spin-offs spawned from it.  In 2017, E! signed a deal with the family for a three-year extension that reportedly valued at nine figures. Variety, however, cited insiders that the new deal was worth below $100 million.

The show features Kim Kardashian along with her mother, Kris Jenner, and her sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner, brother Rob Kardashian, and Kourtney's ex, Scott Disick. Kris' ex-husband, Caitlyn Jenner. also appeared in the show as one of the main cast members from Season 1 to Season 13.

Over the years, viewers witnessed the family dramas in both the members' personal and professional lives. Fans cried with the family during breakups, divorces, and fights between siblings, and celebrated with them when one of the Kardashians welcomed a new member of the family. Viewers also saw the family members' launching their respective businesses and, of course, the family members' reaction about Caitlyn Jenner's transition.
