In a post on Twitter, Ruffalo said there's a "silver lining" about this situation no matter how worse it looked. He tagged Evans and said that he should never feel embarrassed about what happened, Pop Culture noted.
Knowing the 52-year-old is a critic of U.S. President Donald Trump, he told his The Avengers co-star there's nothing he could do that was totally embarrassing until Trump is in office. Ruffalo even saw this ordeal as the "silver lining about the whole thing" as Trump and his administration were always "under fire" due to a number of issues.
Evans' fans are also standing by his side, giving him their huge support, Hindustan Times noted. They're asking everyone to respect his privacy after some people took a screenshot of his now-deleted post.
