Ivanka Trump has always appeared to have a close relationship with her father. Some publications even claimed that she is Donald Trump's "favorite." Sources, also, said that the United States President deems his eldest daughter as his "heir apparent."

But, before the current dynamic in their relationship happened, the First Daughter felt "humiliated" and "betrayed," according to Michael Cohen. The president's former lawyer wrote this "family dynamic" in his memoir, Disloyal: A Memoir: The True Story of the Former Personal Attorney to President Donald J. Trump, according to She Knows.

Cohen said that Ivanka Trump, as well as Don Jr. and Eric, "starved" for Donald Trump's love. He noted that the then-real estate mogul "abandoned," and even "humiliated" them when he "cheated" on Ivana Trump.

The now-disbarred lawyer continued that the three kids are now "forever" trapped in a cycle of getting their father's attention. Trump's "insensitivity" caused his three adult kids to feel "betrayed."

The publication reported that Cohen has known the President and Ivana's three kids for "nearly 15 years." This likely explained the "pity" in how he described them in his material: "they must have suffered."

Michael Cohen, also, pointed out in his book that Donald Trump did not seemingly consider what his kids or others felt about his "infidelity." He even revealed that the U.S. President has "no problem" with Melania Trump leaving him following the emergence of the Stormy Daniels controversy.

The lawyer, later on, concluded that this kind of behavior must have been "tough" for Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka Trump. The kids likely found it difficult to absorb when it all happened with their mother, Ivana. Not to mention, they were just teenagers at that time.

In the end, though, no one knows whether they, indeed, felt "betrayed." The three adult Trump kids have never spoken publicly of it. Thankfully, though, Ivana Trump seemingly gave a few hints as to how her only daughter felt.

Speaking to The Atlantic, Donald Trump's first wife revealed that Ivanka Trump "likes Melania fine." She explained that this is because the First Lady did not cause Ivana's marriage to fall "like the other one," adding that she does not even want to pronounce her name, according to the Daily Mail.

While her mother's statements may be true, several allegations have since come to light, claiming that Melania and Ivanka do not share a warm relationship. Sources said that tensions have always remained apparent, especially after they arrived inside the White House.
