Pitch Perfect star Skylar Astin has a new film launching on Disney+, titled Secret Society of Second-Born Royals, and he hopes that Prince Harry would agree to a cameo in the sequel.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Astin said that he will personally be the first to approach Prince Harry for a cameo. He envisions his character, James Morrow, will get along quite well with the Duke of Sussex. Harry is, of course, the famous second-born son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana and the fourth grandson of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

Astin revealed that they have discussed having Harry on the set of his new film a number of times. However, the movie must first need to get a green light for a follow-up from the streaming platform.

Secret Society of Second-Born Royals will launch on Disney+ on Sept. 25. The movie is about second-born heirs among various royal families who possess superpowers that allow them to protect their kingdoms.

Astin is confident that the movie will warrant another story since they have created the origin of a new universe. The actor said it would be "weird" not to continue this universe so he has high hopes of a follow-up.

Meanwhile, acting in front of the camera might be new to the Duke of Sussex but he has had numerous TV appearances before. Harry is in the Netflix documentary series Rising Phoenix, which talks about the Paralympics and highlights an initiative close to his heart, the Invictus Games.

Harry also appeared in an episode of the children's program Thomas and Friends. The show marked their 75th anniversary last summer with an episode titled "The Royal Engine," where Harry read parts of the book for its dedicated audience.

Branding expert Kubi Springer said that the Duke of Sussex won't likely pursue a career in Hollywood as an actor. However, the royal could use the media -- film, TV and podcast -- to highlight his causes and charities. Springer said Harry might occasionally do fun projects with various studios but his focus is still on "reinforcing" his royal roots.

Springer also thinks that Prince Harry might try voice acting, just like his wife, Meghan Markle, who did the narration for the Disney+ documentary Elephants. This work enabled the Duchess of Sussex to give her talent fee to the Elephants Without Borders charity. According to industry insiders, royals make good candidates for voiceover work since it's flexible and doesn't require long hours on the set.
